Working with energies
“If you want to find the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration” – Nikola Tesla (1856-1943)
Energy work is like ‘performing energy transfusions’ or ‘creating paintings with energies’.
Is it really there?
We are not usually brought up thinking of everything as being ‘energy’.
We are often taught, that anything that cannot be sensed with our five physical senses is not real, therefore non-existent. Many people do feel something beyond their physical senses, but often dismiss it as ‘inexplicable’ or a figment of their imagination. Many are afraid to talk about their experiences with others out of fear of being ridiculed or left out.
But these “energies” surround us, whether we believe in them or not. They are felt and acknowledged by so many of us. WE ARE energy in a denser form.
Once we open up to our other senses, once we welcome them in, we begin to see and feel all the other energies we normally cannot see or feel with our physical senses. We can learn to actually tap into the energies around us, for our own benefit and to help others as well.
Everything is energy
Everything is energy albeit in different forms, vibrations and densities. And energy responds to influences like thoughts and emotions.
When we see ripples forming in water after a stone has been thrown in – we believe it. When leaves on the trees move because of the wind – we believe it. But when it comes to our own body being influenced by our thoughts or emotions or energies around us, it becomes harder to believing in it, because we do not usually see or feel an instant reaction or effect. And we are not used to thinking of our body as being energy in a ‘floaty vibrational’ sense.
We feel it when something more physical happens to our body, but when it comes to believing that our thoughts and emotions are able to have an impact on us on a more subtle plane, it is harder for some to embrace that concept.
Many people may not be noticing the connection between our thoughts, emotions and body, and that could be due to the societal and cultural norms that are in place in many parts of the world. It is just not a part of how many people grow up. Somehow, honoring your ability to sense the subtle planes still seems ‘un-natural’ to many. There is a stigma we would be better off without.
How healing helps us align with our greater purpose
One way of becoming more in tune with sensing the subtle energies and becoming more aware of our intuition, is through healing, in the sense that healing clears and lightens the energy load we carry. This energy load comes in the form of emotional blockages, repetitive negative thoughts, and actions that we are blocking. It is all energy in some form.
With healing, our energies are able to flow freely, our blockages dissolve and our actions will become aligned with our Soul. When our mind is less busy scrambling through traumas of the past or worries about the future, we are more able to notice our intuition. Information about energies often appears through our intuition.
When our intuition comes through more strong we start to trust it and we start to act in accordance with it on a more regular basis. We begin to align more with our greater purpose.
In other words, when we clear out our physical body, by e.g. drinking more water, eating lighter etc., we feel a difference in our body. We actually feel lighter. When we clear our energy field (our aura) we are clearing away dense energies and allowing more high vibrational energy to flow through us.
Shifting your perspective
Energies and the ability to feel them and flow with them is nothing new under the Sun. Indigenous peoples all over the globe live in harmony with the energies, with Nature. We are all indigenous peoples, but in our modern society many have just forgotten that… Nature is one way of bringing yourself back into the flow of energies. When you are in nature and observe nature, you understand the flow and your connection with nature itself and the cosmos.
You feel it.
“The Energy of the Cosmos is surrounding You. All that is needed is a certain Emptiness in You.” – Osho –
